juice - the ultimate evil

No one warned me.
I had no idea that it could inflict that much damage on sweet, soft, baby booty skin.
She seriously looks like she's got 3rd degree burns on her hiney. Or a disease that should be on a poster at Planned Parenthood.
All this for 3 oz. of watered-down pear juice?

crazy.

I've tried Desitin, Balmex, Nystatin, and Boudreaux's Butt Paste. I've even tried the old "air it out" trick and just ended up with pee all over our rug.

So, please help. Any suggestions?

dr. smith's. little round container at wal-mart in the baby stuff that's in the health and beauty section, not the regular baby section. when ellie started foods and for quite some time, like months, she battled rashes like that. dr. smith's is the best. miraculous, even. i've never tried them myself, but i've heard those others, like desitin and those, can sting the baby and don't do much at all.

Poor baby! Pears must not like her too much. The doctor at work tell's mom's to change the diaper as often as she pees, blow dry her bottom with a hair-drier on low (with your hand in between her bottom and the drier so it doesn't get too hot...and you get burned not her if it does!), and desitin. If she starts to hurt real bad you can put her in the tub. Also, good ol' vaseline works wonders.
